A drawing from Daisy Allen from Belfast. She’s got a nice little flickr-stream here
… also I couldn’t find an email address for Daisy so if you see this, thank you Daisy!
MYSTERIOUS NAMELESS SUBMISSION! This was unfortunately mauled in the post, so apologies for the crumpling. Gonna flatten it as best I can.
It’s an A4 sized drawing, and there’s no signature that I can see or contact details. If this is yours & you’d like to put your name to it, message me! If you’d rather stay anonymous that’s ok (but I would love to know…).
The postmark is hard to read but (I think) it says Inis Díomáin which I think is a place in Co. Clare near Lahinch? Ennistymon?
Lithograph from Rachel Likely, who is from Leitrim but lives in Dublin & is a member of Black Church Print Studio - there are some more images on her profile here.
Yeh I’ve been very absent from promoting & generally engaging with Papergirl recently, so I’d like to apologise for that. I was sick, and before I got sick (probably the reason I got sick) I was too busy with Day Job to do anything else.
Apologies especially to the people who sent me submissions over the last while! I got them, thank you, if I haven’t been in contact yet I will email you today. I took photos of lots of submissions this morning & will post them here soon.
Another thing is, I’m going to extend the submissions deadline. It was the 31st of May but I was so absent for the last month that makes no sense anymore. New deadline is… July 14th. How bout that, an extra 6 weeks. There’ll be a poster for that up soon.
4 photographs and 2 drawings from Julianne Popa. She is from Romania but lives in Germany, and her flickr is really worth a look!

he’s got a nice little tumblr here
Some postcards from Jina Wallwork in England
