Papergirl is a non-commercial art project, a new way to distribute and show art outside the confines of galleries, into the street.
Papergirl began in Berlin in 2006 and has since traveled to over 20 cities worldwide.
To participate, send work to: Papergirl Dublin, c/o Blackchurch Print Studio, 4 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, Ireland. To subscribe to the mailing list email firstname.lastname@example.org
Art will be distributed tomorrow (Thursday 29th of August) in the city centre. Anyone interested in helping, please meet at 1pm at Lucy’s Lounge on Fownes Street Upper in Temple Bar.
This is very weather-permitting as always, so if you are definitely interested please message me here so we can exchange phone numbers, just in case we have to call it all off last minute.
mmelancolie asked: Hey. Do you have any photos from the event? I would love to see some. xx
Hi! There are some photos, taken by a friend. I’m waiting for him to email them to me, so when I get them, I’ll post them straight away.
On Saturday just gone, two days after the exhibition opening, I was asked by Katy who runs Café Lurve @ Lucy’s if I could leave the exhibition up for another week.
I said YES OF COURSE, which means the exhibition is still available to see today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow & even the day after that. Until Sunday 25th August. Opens around 12pm every day, til 6pm, and if you go up there you may as well sit down & have some food - it’s all really good :)
