Drypoint etchings from Fi Rooney from Dublin

Some collages from Róisín Page from Mayo :)

GERRUP

If you’d been thinking about sending some work to us but just didn’t get around to it, this will just MAKE YOUR DAY.

We’ve been getting a few emails from people who can’t submit, or haven’t submitted, by the 30th of May, for various reasons.

And because the show isn’t until the 21st of June, we’ve decided to extend the Papergirl Dublin deadline to Friday 15th of June.

Papergirl Dublin

c/o Black Church Print Studio

4 Temple Bar

Dublin 2

Ireland

or leave it into Exchange in Temple Bar, near the Czech Inn.

TELL EVERYONE.

Two drawings from Orla Gilheany from Dublin, called ‘In each and every single room a big loud colour goes boom boom BOOM’ and ‘My Heart is hungry for the hills’.

This is pretty clever! From Leanne McGlean (or maybe McClean?) who didn’t mention where she was from, but the stamp is from the UK.

If you read this Leanne, let us know!

Also got a lot of these lads from unrolling submissions. Definitely useful!

This is a photo/poster from Lucy Phelan. Will definitely get a better photo of this when it comes out of the flattener!

Some really nice little woodcuts from Rosie Haghighi from Bangor in Norn Iron.

She also sent some digital prints but we couldn’t get a good picture of them because they were still curly from being rolled up - they’re in the flattener and we’ll post em soon.

Photograph titled ‘The Café; by Aileen Drohan from Waterford :)

Photograph from Louise Marlborough from Dublin, who is also the director of Pretty Vacant who repurpose vacant buildings around Dublin (and there are many…) and use them as temporary exhibition spaces.

Louise was very encouraging to Papergirl Dublin when it was in it’s early uncertain stages, so we’d like to thank her for that as well as for her submission - THANK YOU LOUISE :)
